Orientation to the Illinois Model for Infant Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation

Description

This asynchronous and synchronous training series was designed by Infant/Early Childhood Mental Health Consultants, early childhood providers, state leaders, and private funders with the goal of a creating a sustainable infant/early childhood mental health consultation model for Illinois consultants working in early care and education programs. The model serves to identify best practices, define the specific nature of infant/early childhood mental health consultation, help coordinate consultation practices across the state, and describes the necessary structures and supports that need to be in place to support I/ECMH consultants and ensure the development of an adequate workforce to provide these services. The training consist of 4 hours of asynchronous online modules and 18 hours of synchronous virtual learning sessions.

*Participants must complete ALL of the requirements of the full 22 hrs in order to receive ANY IL EI credits.
