Feeding Skills

Description

In this presentation we will discuss the various feeding stages in normal development along with red flags to watch for in support of families and caregivers who have concerns. There will be discussion on various symptoms relating to differential diagnosis including neurological, muscle tone, dysphasia, and sensory. Parents will also view some feeding videos which involve various kiddos. We will also discuss some treatment options to help with feeding concerns and weaning off G-tubes. At the conclusion of the session families will be given the opportunity to ask questions.
