Moving from Surviving to Thriving

Description

The Early Childhood Symposium is an annual gathering that provides an opportunity for anyone who works with young children – educators, caregivers, and parents – to gain knowledge, perspective, practical skills, and tools for supporting all young children.

The theme this year is Moving from Surviving to Thriving. This year our early childhood community of educators, providers, parents, and health care professionals all adapted and shifted to continue to care for our children. Our early learning community navigated ever-changing guidance, masked up, sanitized, and worried non-stop, and ensured that they did everything they could to support the healthy development of our children.

We recognize how difficult this year has been, and commend your dedication to children, and your resilience through it all. This year we are going from surviving to thriving!

As a change to the usual format of a one-day event, the 2022 Symposium will take place on four days in February. We responded to the feedback you shared last year about how difficult it is to remain on Zoom for a whole day. Since the event will be virtual again this year, we have created a Symposium schedule that we hope will be convenient for you and reduce Zoom fatigue!
