Does Your Child Have Low Muscle Tone? A Parent's Guide to Hypotonia

This training workshop is designed to educate parents, caregivers, and other professionals on the topic of hypotonia, or low muscle tone. The workshop will discuss what hypotonia is, what it looks like in an infant and a young child, how it might affect a child’s gross motor development, and how to implement various strengthening exercises into daily routines at home. Participants will learn how to best support their child or client with low muscle tone in order to assist with achieving motor milestones. This workshop is targeted to support parents of children from birth to approximately 3 years of age.
