| Description |
In this training, we will cover CFC 10’s partnership with the Erikson Early Childhood Project with IL DCFS. We will highlight the importance of collaboration including providing warm handoffs at referral, communication needed to support families in both programs, and the needs of families going through the crisis of involvement with the child welfare program. The goal of this discussion is to consider what has been working well in this partnership and ways we can improve our work together to support young children and their families experiencing both developmental delays and the experiences of child welfare.
