STEM for one, STEM for all: Strategies to Ensure All Children have STEM Learning Opportunities

Description

There will be two targeted sessions and a homework component. The first webinar session will introduce the importance of STEM for all children. It will be focused on STEM opportunity gaps and the need to fully include all children in early STEM learning opportunities, and will provide concrete examples and strategies for targeting STEM learning in daily classroom and home-based routines and activities. During the first webinar, participants will develop their action plan. They will then implement their plan and submit a short reflection paper as part of their homework assignment. The second webinar will provide an opportunity for participants to share their experiences implementing the practices and strategies and to problem solve with peers and presenters.

This is a two-part series, with 2 hours of homework. Participants must attend both sessions and complete the homework to receive credit, especially ANY IL EI credit.
