| Description |
This presentation will provide a variety of fresh ways to play with simple, common toys in the classroom and home environments of preschoolers as well as children birth to three of all language levels. Examples of differentiated play will be shown with each specific toy. Evidence based practices addressed will include video modeling as well as visual supports/task strips. Play schemas will be modeled and videos will be shared. Additionally, participants will be encouraged to provide ideas and have opportunities to communicate with others attending the workshop.
