Understanding Pediatric Sleep: How Can We Help as Physical Therapists?

Description

This course discusses what is normal and abnormal in regards to pediatric sleep and potential causes of sleep dysfunction. This course enables the physical therapist to screen for sleep disorders or dysfunction, provide appropriate interventions to assist with sleep within the physical therapist scope of practice as well as help to identify proper professionals to refer patients to when concerns arise. This course is directly related to the practice of physical therapy and is therefore appropriate for the PT/PTA.
