Dr Anzueto provided a review of hearing including pitch and loudness, and the importance of hearing evaluations in young children with a speech delay. The different etiology of hearing loss was reviewed, including Acute Otitis Media, genetics, and infection. Dr Anzueto provided detailed information on assessments for hearing loss, both the OAE and the ABR. Finally, he provided visuals and explanations of different types of augmentative communication devices for young children.
