Unraveling the Mystery of AAC: The Right to Communicate

Description

Have you considered AAC? Confused by what you have heard? Everyone has a right to communicate. Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) is a powerful tool providing individuals a method to communicate. Communication is an important part of making connections with the outside world and with a variety of people. Access to AAC opens a world of communication and helps us develop relationships, get our point across, share our thoughts and ideas, and so much more. Participants will explore what AAC is, who can benefit, and bust myths about AAC use.

Join us for a three part series as we unravel the mystery of AAC together. Begin the journey with Part 1: The Right to Communicate. Follow with Part 2: Tools to Guide Your Exploration and Part 3: Matching the System to Needs.
