Description |
Participants will learn treatment techniques designed to increase interoceptive awareness, maximize primary movement patterns, enhance “kid power” through organized movement and determine an optimal range of arousal and affect. This course provides an outline for therapists to use clinical reasoning to create an effective arousal regulation activity regimen from assessment and identification of functional goals to individualized intervention planning. Participants will learn therapeutic guidelines and a variety of sound, movement, and other sensory-based strategies used across environments including at home and individualized sessions. These strategies are appropriate for the birth to three population with a variety of diagnoses.
