Special Education Overview

Description

This two-part overview will provide the legal and statutory foundations that make up modern special education law, explain the process for seeking assessment and evaluations, go into detail about the contents and process for putting an IEP in place, explain processes of dispute resolution and how to be a good peer or family advocate.

This webinar will help our service coordinators advocate and assist families that we serve who are transitioning to the local school district.

Web attendance is required both times in order to get a certificate of completion.
