CVI and Ocular Impairment

Description

For many years, the educational interventions recommended for children with CVI were the same as those for children with ocular visual impairments (OVI). As we in the field of education have learned more about CVI, it has become clear that children with CVI exhibit specific visual behaviors, and the most effective interventions are built around those specific behaviors. This webinar will describe the differences between OVI and CVI in terms of functional vision and visual characteristics. In addition, co-occurrence of CVI and ocular visual impairment will be discussed
