This presentation highlighted practices and principles of DIR and NDT that can be combined to access positive emotional relationships and understanding of young children. This presentation also focused on age-specific milestones cross-discipline and ways to implement increased social-emotional practice into therapeutic activities to aid children in meeting long-term goals in a way that is more efficient and meaningful for them. This training highlighted following EI Principles: 1, 3, 4, and 8.
