Description |
Tired of mealtime battles to get your child to eat the right foods? Maybe your little one seems “stuck” eating the same few items. Join us to learn strategies for expanding the repertoire of your picky eater. We will discuss various reasons a child may be a selective eater with solutions for each. We’ll share ideas you can easily start using this week to help your picky eater start their journey to eating differently.
As a result of participating in this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Identify 1-2 ways children demonstrate difficulty when presented with non-preferred or new foods and understand how to respond.
- Understand factors that contribute to decreased interest, motivation, and appetite at meals and snacks and learn tactics to address these.
- Identify 2 new ways to encourage engagement with new foods without asking child to “just taste it” .
- Be able to identify a “connected” food to a child’s preferred foods for easing the transition to new and different foods.
