Potential Effects of a Pandemic on Child Development: Mental and Emotional Consequences

Description

This training will provide information and discussion surrounding effects and concerns families may have for their child's development due to a pandemic. We will review information related to Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES), types of stress, and resiliency. Potential risks to child development, such as social restrictions, interruptions in care and education, and limited access to resources will be covered.
