CVI and Ocular Impairment

Description

Children with Cerebral/Cortical Visual Impairment require specific interventions to participate in activities across all developmental domains. Once careful assessment has been completed, families can use the known characteristics of CVI to adapt materials and modify teaching strategies for their children. This session will include a description of the defining characteristics of CVI and how it differs from ocular impairment, as well as practical strategies that families can use during every day routines.
