Donald Winnicott's long-time quote - "There is no thing as just a baby" and the clear understanding that infant and children can not exist without a caregiver and that the care-giver has a clear impact on the child and their cognitive, emotional, social and physical development. Dr. Bersted will share information about the adult/ and the parent and how integral the parent is to the child's experience. For this session he will focus on general thinking and emotional brain processes and why they can look so different in parents/adults.
