Virtual Home Visits and Remote instruction: Lessons Learned from Early Intervention in the Field of Blindness and Visual Impairment

Description

This presentation will focus on virtual home visits with young children with visual impairment and their families in early intervention. Research, best practices, application to school-aged children during covid-19 school dismissal in spring of 2020, and videos of virtual home visits/lessons will be shared. Presentation attendees are encouraged to think about the future of virtual home visits/lessons and the issues related to the distance service delivery model.
