Child Development Part Two: Gross Motor

Description

This training highlighted the extensive physical development that occurs in the first 3 years of a child's life. Susie provided examples of and reviewed the guiding principles of physical development, including cephalocaudal, proximal-distal, and general-specific. Susie also explained many common terms often included in evaluation reports. Finally, different factors such as temperament, motivation, and attachment which may impact gross motor development were discussed.
