Susie presented on the components of fine motor development including eye-hand coordination, grasping, manipulating, and isolation. Participants were given hands on examples to experience grasping patterns. Participants also the opportunity to discuss factors that may influence fine motor development such as exposure and culture. A brief overview of sensory processing was provided, including responses and sensory system components.
