Happy Healthy Eaters: How to Offer Nutritious Noms

Struggling with finding healthy foods that your little ones will eat? Helping parents and clinicians learn how to build more nutritious meals and snacks to promote little eaters who are excited to explore their plate. You will learn what foods can help pump up the vitamin and mineral content in a child’s diet and tips for making the introduction to the table a positive experience. We will share our favorite strategies to helping you grow a little eater who can one day prepare their own nutritious plate.

As a result of participating in this virtual workshop, individuals will:
• Learn about nutrient dense foods appropriate for a child’s age and skill
• Identify “nutrient lacking” snacks and nutritious replacements
• Learn strategies for introducing new foods to improve acceptance
• Identify ways to engage children in tasks that increase exposure to nutrient dense foods
