"Connections are Key: Teaming and Collaboration in EI"

Description

As we work to support families in EI, we regularly collaborate with a variety of people, including family members, childcare providers, physicians, social workers, service coordinators, and providers, just to name a few. The quality of those interactions (and ultimately, those
relationships) are a key factor in determining the success of the children and families we serve. Some connections are easy and pleasurable, while others leave us feeling confused or disappointed. Please join social Emotional Specialist, Kerry Stokes, and Pediatric Consultant, Susan Nevin, for this important discussion on teaming and collaboration in EI.
Parent Liaison, Melissa Canes, will introduce the Arc of Illinois Information Specialists, Rocio Perez, to explain programs available for families with children with disabilities.
