| Description |
Is it nature or nurture? Current research suggests that both experience and genetics shape corticospinal development. Through interaction and engagement, caregivers play a key role in providing experiences that can facilitate the establishment and refinement of synapses during infancy and beyond. This course briefly reviews corticospinal development and discusses strategies, including relationship-focused intervention and coaching, to facilitate caregiver responsiveness and optimize outcomes.
