Description

This is an "in house" training for CFC #15 Service Coordinators during which Dr. Larry Desch will present medical diagnostic, assessment, treatment information, and resources. Case examples of a child with two deletions on the 7Q Chromosome (FOXP2), and the child with Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia will be presented. Diagnostic considerations, clinical features, causes, complications, prevalence, prognosis, treatment, genetic considerations and testing, clinical implications, available resources, and assessment of the needs of the child and family in EI will be addressed.
