Description |
2020 has been an unprecedented year for most families in America. Navigating multiples issues has an impact on the mental health and wellbeing of young children and their families, but this year the impact of the COVID-19 global pandemic in the midst of national civil unrest threatens to upend the strengths and resiliency of the families we serve. In this seminar we will explore the impact of current events on the young child/caregiver relationship and tap into specific and potentially unique stresses facing young children and families of color. Focus will be given to ways to exploring potential impact today and in the future, and ways to strengthen and boost dyad resiliency.
