ā€œDevelopmental Milestones for Infants and Children with Down syndrome in Early Interventionā€ overviews the common characteristics of Down syndrome and how they affect individuals overall development. In addition, the presentation provides information on normative milestones regarding motor, speech/language, cognition, play, and behavioral development for children with Down syndrome and how they may compare to same age peers. The presenters will provide connections on developmental milestones in individuals with Down syndrome and how these characteristics affect them functionally.
