In this course we will break down the milestones children should be achieving with their play and language. We will explore the interrelationships of cognition, play, language, social-emotional skills and literacy. Play practices and play strategies that can be used across stages of development in therapy and home programming will be discussed. Interdisciplinary collaboration as it relates to optimal support for children with a variety of abilities will be highlighted.
