This group is will meet the 2nd Thursday of every other month online via zoom.
Developing relationships with families is essential in providing early intervention services. In working with young children and families we know that how you are with a family is as important as what you do, and that your relationship with a family impacts their relationship with their child and others. Consequently, it is important for EI professionals to have a safe space where they can process and reflect on situations they may encounter that can influence their assumptions, reactions, beliefs, biases, and ability to attune to a child and family. The goal of this group is to encourage self-reflection by providing a non-judgmental, safe place to process experiences while listening to and supporting others working in EI. The core processes of reflective supervision: regularity, collaboration and reflection; as well as the FAN (Facilitating Attuned Interactions) tenets will be used to guide discussions.
The group and will be facilitated by Mary Valerius, Social Emotional Consultant for CFC 15. Group size will be limited to allow for discussion. The following topics and themes will be explored during meetings:

9. Burnout, Stress, & Self Care for the EI Provider-1.5 WWF
