Speech sound development and disorders

Description

This course will teach participants about articulation and phonological development. This is a topic that often arises with parents and clinicians in the Early Intervention population as children begin talking. This course will detail typical speech sound development, common characteristics and errors in early years of development, and the causes of speech sound disorders. The presenters will discuss motor speech disorders and phonological disorders, including intervention approaches.
