“The Expanded Core Curriculum for Little Ones of All Abilities”

Description

As parents of infants and toddlers, we are our children’s primary teachers. So how do we know what we should be teaching our little ones? The Expanded Core Curriculum (ECC) is a set of skills that addresses the unique learning needs of children with visual impairments. This presentation will define the ECC skill areas and teach parents and caregivers how to incorporate prerequisite skills into their daily routines. In addition, emphasis will be given to ECC skill adaptations and applications for children with multiple disabilities.
