The Parent-Child Relationship Cohort Training Series examines the role and skills required of the home visitor to observe parent-child interactions, help parents understand the child’s developmental experiences within the context of their environment and implement intervention strategies that address the developmental factors affecting the parent-child relationship. Through in-person training sessions and online webinar workshops, participants will review developmental stages of infancy and toddlerhood with respect to the experience of parents, practice identifying factors of stress and success in parent-child interaction and apply intervention strategies in support of the evolving relationship between parent and child.

The Parent-Child Relationship Cohort is a five part session. Participants are required to attend each part in order to obtain a certificate of completion. The dates and times are:

4/23/2020, 5/4/2020 from 10:00AM-11:30AM
5/14/2020, 5/28/2020 from 9:00AM-10:30AM
-Totaling 12.5 credit hours.
