Trauma Informed Engagement with At-Risk Children and Families

Description

Many of the families engaged in early intervention have experienced trauma. Often the response to trauma are behaviors that can get in the way of parenting, relationships, self-advocacy and/or managing daily life and stress. This seminar will offer background information for EI professionals to help deepen their ability to support children and families who have experienced trauma. This is a training for all professionals - not only mental health professionals.
