Description |
Online communications are vastly different from face-to-
face. It isn’t how we learned to communicate and despite our best intentions, it isn’t anything natural. So, we need to unlearn what we think we know and learn the skills that work in the virtual world. This interactive virtual workshop is designed to help Early Intervention providers understand how to effectively communicate with their peers and families in the virtual work world.
Participants will learn to:
- Understand their natural and adapted communication styles
- Read others’ styles
- Learn communication adaption techniques
- Determine channels of communication that are ideal for colleagues working in Early Intervention
