Treatment of Motor Issues in Children with Sensory Dysfunction

Description

This course will provide knowledge in evidenced-based sensory techniques that can be used to treat children with underlying gross motor and sensory dysfunction, including postural control, weakness, instability, incoordination, motor planning, and restricted mobility. Participants will learn how to incorporate the vestibular, visual, and proprioceptive systems into Early Intervention treatment sessions in order to maximize treatment outcomes. Additionally, providers will learn how best to assess vestibular, visual, and proprioceptive performance.
