Joseph Bodyworks Strain Counterstrain is based on the work of osteopath, Dr. Lawrence Jones. Strain-Counterstrain is a neuromodulation technique that reduces facilitated segments and aberrant sensory input. Emphasizing treatment of the pelvis and sacrum, this course can be used in children and adults experiencing pain and discomfort in the sacrum or pelvis. It emphasizes techniques to decrease pain and improve ambulatory stability. 100% of techniques taught are applicable to pediatrics.
