Responding and adapting during times of crisis requires us to make changes more quickly than most of us are comfortable with and information and support are critical! This one-hour, web-based training will help Early Intervention Providers during our statewide response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Topics include important messaging from DHS, remote support with families-What does this interim support look like? Defining and redefining the use of IFSP Development Time - the purpose, what it is and what it isn't, tips and ideas for how to use phone consultation with families on your current caseload - setting up visual supports and simple written home programs; caseload triage when all of your families want information and answers and so many situations feel urgent requiring immediate attention; documentation and you during COVID-19; handling system questions for families; utilizing supports at the CFC for yourself and your families; self-care during times of crisis response.
