Course Description: This full-day training will consist of a minimum of 6 hours dedicated to the learning objectives listed below. The session will consist of lecture supported by slides, video demonstration, and discussion around proper administration and scoring of specific items. Additional focus will be placed on the more difficult item types, new scoring rules, and new test content.
Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of this workshop, participants will be able to:
1. Describe the purpose, structure, and relevant changes made to the Bayley-4.
2. Administer items of the Cognitive, Language, and Motor scales in a valid and scorable manner.
3. Derive and interpret scores from the five scales utilizing the administration and scoring manual, along with regulatory guidelines of the region.
4. Summarize the technical properties of the Bayley-4 and become familiar with the new digital feature available to facilitate item administration, scoring, and reporting.
