Description |
This presentation will describe applied behavior analysis and the benefits of this science to the area of Early Intervention. Information will be given that helps participants become more familiar with the functions of behavior. Effective behavioral strategies that are based on the reasons why children engage in challenging behaviors will be discussed. In addition, the critical importance of all EI team members being consistent in the ways a child's behavior is addressed will be explained.
