Processing and Synthesizing Reflex Integration Assessment and Therapy; what has been working and what has been frustrating?

Description

This workshop is for therapy staff of Communication Clubhouse. Last spring the staff participated in a 6 hour course on primitive reflexes, their impact on functioning and development in typically developing infants and young children, as well as the negative impacts that are seen when these are not fully integrated within a few months to a year after birth. The staff has had about 6 months to work with these concepts and protocols. The purpose of this workshop is to share experiences regarding what has and has not 'worked', what we have learned thus far about this complicated topic, and how we can better integrate these theories and strategies into our therapy.
