This course is designed to offer practical ideas using equipment to create powerful sensory diets that can be readily implemented in a home, school or clinic based environment. Hands-on intervention will work to support breath control, coordination, timing, balance and strength. Modifications, adaptation and grading of activities will be addressed to support best possible outcomes. Ideas for better engagement of the child will be addressed, as well as discussion of ways to facilitating play for continuing to build stronger therapist-child relationships. This dynamic workshop supports participants through hands-on learning. Alex will provide tools for therapists to create their own DIY equipment at minimal costs.
