Description |
Therapists will understand typical and atypical patterns for feeding and the GI system. We will clearly define the GI’s role vs. the therapy teams’ role. They will be able to identify when and how to refer to a pediatric GI, how to work with the GI to diagnosis the problem, and how to help with the treatment. We will discuss environmental and behavioral changes that can help families and young children with feeding and GI system difficulties as well as further medical interventions.
