Treatment and Care of Premature Infants

Description

Premature infants require special care and support in both the NICU and in their follow up health and developmental care. Technology and research in intervention strategies that support their optimal health and development have grown in the past few decades and continue to improve outcomes.
In this training Dr. Ochoa will discuss the care environment and interventions that have been designed in NICUs to promote the healthy outcomes of these very small and vulnerable infants. He will also discuss the early intervention therapy that supports their specialized needs.
