Advances in Genetic Testing for Autism Spectrum Disorders

Description

Cesar Ochoa, MD is a prominent researcher of Autism and focuses much of his work with children and families in understanding how children with autism manifest it has a social, communication and learning disorder. More and more recently research is indicating that for some people with autism genetics is linked to the "why" or "how" of autism. For this workshop Dr. Ochoa will discuss the current trends of diagnosing children and how genetics testing is part of that process as well as what is currently being learned.
