Description |
Provision of Early Intervention services in natural environments involves regular home visiting. And to successfully forge collaborative relationships with families, home visitors must feel comfortable in the environments in which they work. The goal of this workshop will be to review many of the concerns that have been shared regarding home visiting and outline methods and techniques home visitors may utilize to enhance their personal safety when working in the community. Ample opportunity will be provided for question and answers and active practice of some of the methods developed for personal defense.
