Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Interventions: An Overview

Description

This workshop will discuss naturalistic developmental behavioral interventions (NDBIs) utilized in the treatment of young children with autism, the historical contexts in which these treatments were developed, the core components of NDBIs and common features between various NDBIs. Group discussion will follow related to implementation of strategies from NDBIs in practice, the impact of this information on current practice and clinical knowledge base, and how this information will better inform parents to improve parent participation and child outcomes.
