How to Identify Anxiety in Young Children and Strategies for Reducing It

Description

Young children experience worries and upsets that can sometimes become anxiety at times. Some children experience this more often than others based on their individual temperament, as well as their environment and experience being parented. For this workshop Dr. Bersted will describe the features of anxiety in young children. What does that look like? What behaviors are shown by a child experiencing anxiety? In addition to how to recognize anxiety, this workshop will address how to help manage anxiety for young children. In particular guidance for parents and care-givers around strategies that can help reduce anxiety for young children will be described.
