Description

The initial evaluation and assessment process is complex, time sensitive and has a lot of moving parts! Service Coordinators are the first professionals to partner with families as they enter early intervention to determine whether or not their child is in need of supports and services. This full day workshop for Service Coordinators will cover the initial evaluation/assessment process from intake through to implementation of the IFSP. A combination of information sharing, small and large group discussion, videos and team teaching will be utilized to enhance participant's application of evidence based, best practice in the field of early intervention regarding assessment of young children birth to three with special needs.
