This is an "in house" training for CFC #15 Service Coordinators during which Dr. Larry Desch will present medical diagnostic, assessment, treatment information, and resources. Case examples of a child with partial chromosome deletion #6 and multiple medical challenges; and the child with Congenital Heart Failure who had a heart transplant will be presented. Diagnostic considerations, clinical features, symptoms, causes, prevalence, prognosis, treatment, common developmental concerns, available resources, and assessment of the needs of the child and family in EI will be addressed.
