Reflex Assessment and Integration for the Pediatric Patient
Objectives:
• Understand basic information about what reflexes are and why they are important
• Identify and assess reflex patterns for 5 different postural and primitive reflexes (Moro Reflex, Asymmetrical Tonic Neck Reflex, Tonic Labyrinthine Reflex, Symmetrical Tonic Neck Reflex, Spinal Galant)
• Demonstrate knowledge of how to incorporate specific movement patterns into pediatric play to promote reflex integration.
